We decided to try our hands at surfing while visiting my sister-in-law's family in San Diego. They took us to "Dog Beach" because the waves there are gentle and forgiving. As good of a time as we had, it paled in comparison to the fun the dogs there were having as they ran and played in the surf. You rarely get to witness such pure joy as I saw there by the sea. That must be the happiest day in a dog's life. I was a tad envious.
