My Dog Ate My House

Well, I've got a dog, his name is Buddy
He's real sweet,  but he's kinda funny
He'll eat about anything thing that he sees

Big or small, it just don't matter
That dog, he ain't got no manners
He'll eat some things that you would not believe

I got scared every time I'd go
And leave Buddy by himself alone
'Cause every single time I'd come back home
A little bit more of my house was gone

He ate my watch and he ate my shoes
He ate the chairs and the table too
He ate the curtains and he ate the phone
He ate the couch and he ate the stove
He ate the carpets right off the floor
He ate the walls and he ate the doors
My dog ate my house

Well Buddy taught me a hard, hard lesson
He made a meal out of my possessions
Now I don't have much left to my name

And my house sure must've been real good-tastin'
'Cause Buddy ate it right down to the foundation
All that he left was just the driveway

I got scared every time I'd go
And leave Buddy by himself alone
'Cause every single time I'd come back home
A little bit more of my house was gone

He ate my watch and he ate my shoes
He ate the chairs and the table too
He ate the curtains and he ate the phone
He ate the couch and he ate the stove
He ate the carpets right off the floor
He ate the walls and he ate the doors
My dog ate my house

Now we live in a hole you see
Right where my house used to be
Buddy is still my very best friend by far

I'm just kinda worried about what I'm gonna do
'Cause I'm kinda hungry and  Buddy is too
I guess I'll have to feed him my car

I got scared every time I'd go
And leave Buddy by himself alone
'Cause every single time I'd come back home
A little bit more of my house was gone He ate my watch and he ate my shoes

He ate the chairs and the table too
He ate the curtains and he ate the phone
He ate the couch and he ate the stove
He ate the carpets right off the floor
He ate the walls and he ate the doors
My dog ate my house
