Aaron and His Aeroplane

Aaron flies in his aeroplane
Around the world and back again
Anybody asks where he's been
He says, "I had to go see all my friends"

All through the Americas
Around Africa
Across Europe into Asia too
Above Australia
And even cold Antarctica
Anywhere I fly I find a friend or two
Anywhere I fly I find a friend or two

Aaron who will you see?
What kind of friends could they be?
He says, "They're all different, no two are just the same
But we're all in it together and together we make quite a team

Cause some are runners on the plains
And others lie around all day
Some are drifters on the tide
And others dreamers way up high

Some are thinkers making plans
And some have short attention spans
Or necks so long that they can feed
Upon the leaves on tops of trees

Some wear suits and some wear robes
Some have freckles on their nose
Others spots upon their fur
They're every color in the rainbow

They live quite differently
And some look very strange to me
But I can see that big or small
A friend can be most anyone at all"

So I fly all through the Americas
Around Africa
Across Europe into Asia too
Above Australia
And even cold Antarctica
Anywhere I fly I find a friend or two
Anywhere I fly I find a friend or two

Aaron where will you go?
What kind of place do these friends call home
He says, "They call home any place they like being best
You see your home is where your heart is and your heart is always in your chest

So some live in the city walls
Others on the mountainside
They live in houses built with brick
Or stone or twigs or even ice

Some just wander wild and strange
And move whenever seasons change
They carry homes upon their back
In a shell or in a pack

They swim beneath the ancient seas
And amble on the rocky beach
They swing amongst the canopy
And float atop the arctic breeze

They live in distant lands
And speak a language I can't understand
But I can say
You can find a friend most anyplace"

So I fly all through the Americas
Around Africa
Across Europe into Asia too
Above Australia
And even cold Antarctica
Anywhere I fly I find a friend or two
Anywhere I fly I find a friend or two

Aaron why don't you stay aground
You've got so many friends in your hometown
Aaron says, "I've got so many friends around this place you bet
But what about the ones that I haven't even met?"

So Aaron flies in his aeroplane
Around the world and back again
Why would anybody want to take to wing?
He says, "I had to go see all my friends
I had to go see all my friends."
