"Up!" Wins 1st Place
The song "Up!" from the CD "Alphabet Songs Volume III (Rabbit Run)" won first place in Childrens category of the 2007 USA Songwriting Competition. Since 1995, the USA Songwriting Competition®, the world's leading international songwriting event, has been honoring songwriters, composers, bands, and recording artists everywhere.
Winners are selected by a Blue Ribbon committee of music industry judges including record label publishers, producers, A&R from Universal Music, Warner, EMI, Sony/BMG Music, and other distinguished professionals.

"Someday" Tops the XM Charts

The song "Someday" from Steve Weeks' Alphabet Songs Vol. III (Rabbit Run) reached the number on spot on the XM Kids Top 13 Under 13 this week. This list is the only national children's music chart and airs on Fridays at 10 PM Eastern Time on XM Radio Channel 116. The list is comprised of the top 13 most played songs on XM Kids, and has been known to include the likes of Paul McCartney, Prince, and Dan Zanes!
